			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SPRINGVILLE, UTAH (June 24, 2010)—A native of Ghana, Africa, Akwasi Frimpong grew up in Holland and has recently been attending university in the United States on a track scholarship, as well as serving as a global sales intern at Neways. When invited to try Neways’ new noncarbonated energy drink Açai Action<sup>®</sup>, which contains all-natural sweeteners and no artificial colors, Akwasi eagerly accepted and soon saw excellent results.</p>
<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-308" href="http://www.newaysinnews.com/2010/06/acai-action%c2%ae-energizes-olympic-aiming-sprinter/akwasifrimpong1/"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-308" src="http://www.newaysinnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/akwasifrimpong1-200x300.jpg" alt="" width="200" height="300" /></a>“I have been taking Açai Action<sup>®</sup> during track meets, and I have been seeing some great improvements,” said Akwasi. “I was having a hard time performing well this season, and I needed something to boost me up during track meets. <p>Recently, Akwasi helped the Utah Valley University track team break the school record in the 4&#215;100m relay, and he achieved his best time this season on the 100m sprint (10.94 seconds). “This time has helped me qualify for the Dutch National Championships in July in the Netherlands,” Akwasi says. “And during my finals week, Açai Action<sup>®</sup> helped me stay awake to study.”</p>
<p>Akwasi’s goal is to compete in the 2012 Olympic games in London.</p>

Attendees also included guests from around the world. In addition to recognizing top-performing distributors, the company unveiled new products, sales tools, and, most importantly, a new recruiting tool called “A Life Without Limits.” </p>
<p><strong>A Life Without Limits:</strong> This prospecting tool, which includes a booklet, DVD, and audio CD, is designed to help independent distributors share the Neways story. Included on the DVD is a 16-minute presentation explaining the Neways opportunity and a three-minute Getting Started segment. This tool differs from previous recruiting tools because it focuses not only on the Neways lifestyle but also the  opportunity. At convention, leaders encouraged everyone to buy at least 100 of these tools and to give away two a day and always keep ten active prospects in play.</p>
<p>Distributors were seen leaving the store with armfuls of the new recruiting tool. “I think it’s going to grow people’s businesses out of this world,” said Carolyn Lawrence, a distributor.</p>

<p>Now, Jared and his wife Claire, who is also a race walker, are preparing to compete in the Commonwealth Games this October in New Delhi. “It would be a dream come true for both of us to bring home gold medals for Australia,” Jared said. Both he and Claire recently won gold medals at Australia’s National 20-kilometer Walk Championships.</p>

<p>SPRINGVILLE, UT (August 6, 2009)—Since the debut of Hydracial Beauténectar at this year’s annual Neways Japan convention, this new liquid supplement has consistently outperformed sales projections.</p>
<p>“Beauténectar is exclusive to Japan, and our Japan distributors have really connected with it,” said senior brand manager Kelly Queensberry. “We started by selling 7,000 bottles at the Japan convention. Then we sold out more than 15,000 twelve-packs in less than two months, though this was intended as a six-month inventory. Sales have continued at a very high rate, currently averaging 4,700 units per month. To meet the demand, we’ve even had to airship inventory to Japan, and we’re doubling our next production run.”</p>
<p>“We consider this one of our most successful product launches ever in Japan,” said vice president of sales and marketing Jennifer Wolbers. “With Beauténectar, our scientists have incorporated the latest in nutrition to create a product that supports beauty from the inside out. <p>First published in 1997, the Botanical Safety Handbook has become an essential reference text for healthcare providers, consumers, retailers and manufacturers of herbal products. The text provides safety information on more than 600 species of plants known to be in trade as ingredients in dietary supplements, and, employing a unique safety rating system, classifies each species listed based on a review of a number of authoritative contemporary botanical references and knowledge of historical use.</p>
<p>In 2006, realizing the significant amount of literature on herbal medicines that had been published since 1997 and the improved access to primary references online, the AHPA-ERB Foundation began raising funds for a revision of this important text. In addition to thousands more citations, the revised Botanical Safety Handbook also contains entries for herbal ingredients new to the marketplace and addresses potential drug interactions.</p>
<p>&#8220;While many healthcare providers in the U.S. believe research on botanicals is scarce, in actuality a wealth of information is obtainable, but not easily accessible since it is scattered in various academic journals and texts on the clinical use of botanicals,&#8221; said Zo・Gardner, program coordinator of the Medicinal Plants Program at the University of Massachusetts and research editor of the Botanical Safety Handbook revision. &#8220;An accurate, scientifically-based assessment of herbal ingredients will be required for medical professionals to accept the use of health-promoting botanicals.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SPRINGVILLE, UT (January 20, 2009)-Officially known as the Neways Maui Paradise Marathon, Neways&#8217; first-ever headline-sponsored athletic event took place in Maui, Hawaii, on January 11, with hundreds participating in the full and half marathons, including several independent Neways distributors from Japan and North America.</p>
<p>&#8220;Running along the ocean as the sun rose over the Pacific is something I will never forget,&#8221; said Neways, Inc. President and COO Brian Slobodow, who took third place for his age group in the half-marathon. &#8220;A special thanks to all the great event volunteers who made it such a success. Given the event&#8217;s success in its first year and Neways&#8217; commitment to continue as title sponsor, we expect a much larger group in 2010, and we&#8217;re confident this marathon will develop into a prestigious international event.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to Neways North America managing director Thierry Sorhaitz, who took ninth place overall in the full marathon, &#8220;This Maui marathon provides the perfect opportunity for Neways, a company with the mission to offer safe and effective products, to sponsor an event with a healthy, environmentally friendly focus. It gives our distributors a great opportunity to set fitness goals for themselves and meet up in Hawaii for a chance to learn, share, and have fun.
