Neways Distributor Competes in Deaflympics 2009

ReeceTT6A Neways Australia distributor and Neways-sponsored cyclist since November 2004, Reece-Emerson van Beek recently competed in the Deaflympics 2009 Games in Taiwan. He brought home a silver medal for the 50-kilometer race and a bronze medal for the 34-kilometer timed trial.

“I regularly take the Energy Trio, Ming Gold, Renu, Cascading Revenol, and EFA,” says Reece-Emerson, describing the Australian-market Neways products that play a key role in his fitness regimen. “I was drawn to Neways by the success that people were having with Neways products.”

Four months before the Deaflympics, a truck hit Reece-Emerson while he was training on his cycle. Falling off his bike, he received four tiny rib fractures, a head cut, and scratched teeth. “Neways products really helped to get me back in form,” he says. “I got my weight from 98 kilograms after the accident to 88 kilograms by the time I was ready to compete.”

Reese-Emerson is part of a Neways network with a large percentage of hearing-impaired people, including his sponsor, Maria Wright, and Andrew and Zinta Myers. Their upline Diamond Ambassador is Cheryl Graham.

Reece-Emerson is now in training for the all-Australian championships, where he is aiming for a gold medal.
