Açai Action® Energizes Olympic-Aiming Sprinter

SPRINGVILLE, UTAH (June 24, 2010)—A native of Ghana, Africa, Akwasi Frimpong grew up in Holland and has recently been attending university in the United States on a track scholarship, as well as serving as a global sales intern at Neways. When invited to try Neways’ new noncarbonated energy drink Açai Action®, which contains all-natural sweeteners and no artificial colors, Akwasi eagerly accepted and soon saw excellent results.

“I have been taking Açai Action® during track meets, and I have been seeing some great improvements,” said Akwasi. “I was having a hard time performing well this season, and I needed something to boost me up during track meets. Açai Action® has been helping me out a lot.”

Recently, Akwasi helped the Utah Valley University track team break the school record in the 4×100m relay, and he achieved his best time this season on the 100m sprint (10.94 seconds). “This time has helped me qualify for the Dutch National Championships in July in the Netherlands,” Akwasi says. “And during my finals week, Açai Action® helped me stay awake to study.”

Akwasi’s goal is to compete in the 2012 Olympic games in London.

Menta magazine, published in Hebrew, is part of Yediyot Achronot and is distributed to over 350,000 homes in Israel. Neways Prioritizes Recycling

SPRINGVILLE, UTAH (June 16, 2010)—Neways has released dramatically improved conservation statistics that demonstrate the company’s success in prioritizing environmentally sound business practices. In conjunction with Neways’ Healthy Homes commitment to environmental responsibility, Neways’ corporate recycling program achieved the following results in 2009:

Landfill airspace saved (cu yd)      29,120

Gallons of water saved                  452,388
Kw-hr of electricity saved          34,112,000

“Recycling has allowed us to cut our waste pickup from five times weekly to two,” said Neways’ Facilities Manager, Mel Sevy. “This actually represents a cost savings to Neways and underscores our commitment to contribute to a healthy planet.”

Sevy indicates that plans to expand the recycling efforts are in process.  Most recently the number of plastic types that can be recycled has increased from two to seven, and methods to make individual recycling more accessible to employees are forthcoming.

Neways Opens New Market in Switzerland

On May 1, 2010, Neways will hold a launch meeting in Zurich, signaling the official opening of the company’s Switzerland market.

“Our leaders elsewhere in Europe have been asking us to open in Switzerland, because they’re excited to start building their businesses there,” said Brian Slobodow, president and COO of Neways, Inc. and managing director of Neways’ Europe region. “Several of our German Diamond Advisory Board members will be attending the launch meeting. We’re very enthusiastic about this new market.”

Initially, Neways is focusing on sharing the products and business opportunity with German-speakers in Switzerland. In the near future, marketing materials in French and Italian will also become available. A new French-language website recently opened for Belgium, and it will soon become fully functional in Switzerland as well.

Neways Launches French Website

Neways is pleased to announce the launch of the company’s new French-language website. This site provides several key resources in French, including public information about the Neways products and business opportunity and back-office distributor tools and resources.

Neways’ Switzerland market opens in May 2010, and the company’s France market is planned to open in late 2010.
